JOB OPPORTUNITY

Title: Clinical Clerk 1

General Description

  • Primary clinical contact with the public, both in person and via phone
  • Provides clerical support including but not limited to billing for services, scheduling appointments, preparing various client records/forms, preparing required correspondence
  • Perform computer data entry assignments (e.g. demographics into electronic health record, HDIS, and IMPACT SIIS)
  • Assists in the implementation of programs and special projects
  • Treats all customers with respect, follows up in a timely manner and presents with a positive attitude

Minimum qualifications: Background in public health, healthcare, or equivalent. High school diploma required, degree or certificate in medical billing/coding preferred. No experience required.

Selection procedure: Selection will be based on combination of relevant experience and educational qualifications.

Title: Registered Sanitarian

General Description:

  • Inspection and appropriate enforcement for all state mandated programs. Efficiently uses resources to mitigate health hazards
  • Document inspection records within the appropriate system (Healthspace, HDIS, files, correspondence, memoranda, reports and related materials)
  • Train staff and operators as needed. Develops and provides educational programs for environmental health related practices and programming.
  • Consult with internal/external experts and agencies, including, but not limited to, the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Department of Agriculture, regarding food protection codes or practices, or other environmental health and safety codes and practices.
  • Participates in emergency preparedness trainings and exercises as required

Minimum qualifications: Background in public health or equivalent preferred. Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent required, preference to graduate degrees. Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and be insurable through company policy. Must have current Ohio Board of Ohio Sanitarian Registration RS/SIT certificate or national equivalent.
